Members of the S.C. General Assembly requested that we conduct an audit of the Charter Institute at Erskine.
Objectives
- Determine the Charter Institute at Erskine's relationship with Education Management Organizations.
- Ensure that the Charter Institute at Erskine's fundraising and donations comply with state laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Determine the relationship between the Charter Institute at Erskine, Erskine College, and any subsidiaries or related entities.
- Ensure the Charter Institute at Erskine's use of state funding complies with state laws, regulations, and best practices.
