JOB VACANCY

SC Legislative Audit Council seeks senior auditors to join a team of dedicated professionals who conduct performance audits of state agencies and programs.  Senior auditors assist in planning, supervising, and conducting performance audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards. 

Candidates must have a masters degree, a law degree, or a license to practice as a CPA, and two years experience in auditing or performance evaluation.  Applicants with a bachelors degree and four years experience in auditing or performance evaluation will also be considered. 

Candidates should possess strong research, analytical and communication skills, have knowledge and experience in applying audit techniques and procedures, and the ability to supervise subordinates effectively.  Supervisory experience is desirable.

Hiring range $45,000 - $60,000
(depending upon qualifications and experience)
